BIONICS broke a fifteen-month winning drought after leading throughout over 1200m in soft going here on June 13 (Race 1). The William Looi trained gelding dictated terms from the start to defeat subsequent winner QIJI STAR by 3.25 lengths.

BIONICS has maintained form since with two minor placings, the most recent a nose defeat at the hands of HEY BOSS which is engaged in the same race on Saturday. BABY BISCUIT has made rapid progress since making his Malaysian debut in December last year in which the gelding failed at his first two runs in Open Maiden company. However, the New-Zealand bred performer has finished top five in seven subsequent starts including breaking through at Class 4 level over 1000m in April.

BABY BISCUIT was placed over the 1400m trip last start when finishing 3rd behind the inform HEAVENLY WARRIOR, beaten 5.75 lengths in a high graded Cosmo C contest. The gelding looks well weighted with 54kg on the downgrade and appears a genuine chance of chalking up his third career victory.
