The PRTC Equine Hospital at Perak Turf Club (PRTC) is Malaysia’s only full-fledged equine hospital, featuring a modern and fully equipped operating theatre.

From its humble beginnings, the PRTC Equine Hospital has evolved into a premier equine medical center. In addition to providing official veterinary services under the Malayan Racing Association (MRA), the hospital offers clinical services and is a preferred referral center for complex equine surgeries and treatments. It receives referrals not only from MRA-associated turf clubs but also from equestrian centers, riding schools, spelling stations, and polo establishments.

On average, the hospital examines 15 horses daily, with treatments varying from routine and elective care to complex diagnostics and procedures. During on-course race meetings, the hospital also manages the influx of racehorses from other turf clubs and handles official racing duties as required by the MRA.
